There isnt any information about chronic nasal use (on this site).
I have a few questions:
Nose support for daily users? ( other then rincing with salt water, makes my nose even drieer)
What is the linkage between nose, sinusses and ear drums ? ( Somethimes when i blow my nose in a tissue paper its like my eardrum exploded and have that " beeing on a plane" feeling), a few times it maked me instantly dissy ( my doc. said it was due to the coordination crystals wich are locate behind drum ears).
Greetings.

This series of measures will help to reduce these risks:

  • Spray the substance well before administration.
  • Do not always use the same side of the nose, but alternate between both nostrils.
  • Use a clean surface (avoid using a toilet bowl, for example).
  • Irrigate the nostrils with saline (or warm water with a little salt) after consumption.
  • Use your own, clean, disposable turula. A post-it note or a clean piece of paper (not a banknote) is sufficient.
    • This last tip is particularly important as Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) has been detected in banknotes and other materials used for inhalation. There is no clear evidence that it can be transmitted by sharing tissues but it is clear that some pathogens are transmitted by nasal fluids (e.g. common cold or flu viruses) so using a personal, non-transferable tissue should be a basic hygiene rule.
As for the relationship between the nose, sinuses and eardrums, there is a connection between them through the Eustachian tube. The Eustachian tube is a narrow tube that connects the middle ear to the back of the throat. This connection helps balance the pressure in the middle ear and allows air to flow in and out of the ear.

When you blow your nose, especially roughly or intensely, the pressure in the middle ear may be temporarily affected.

Excellent recommendations above!

I would add a few details. For irrigating , it is best to use a 0.9% NaCl saline solution. And it is better to refuse solutions with salt - if the concentration is incorrect, you can dry out the mucous membrane, which we definitely do not need.

It will also be useful if possible to humidify the air in the house.

If there is a constant snorting, then sooner or later the mucosa will still be damaged. Therefore, it is worth taking breaks periodically, during which you can conduct a restorative course for your nasal mucosa

1. Drip peach oil 1-2 drops into each nostril 2 times a day for 7-14 days, depending on the condition.
2. 2 hours after the drops, make tampons from the bandage, lubricate them with Actovegin ointment, insert it into each nostril for 30 minutes. Also 2 times a day for 7-14 days.
3. Any medicinal drops for the nose on an oil basis with natural components (pine buds, mint, wormwood, St. John's wort, chamomile, etc.). Drip 2-3 times a day for 7-14 days.

It is obvious that during the course it is necessary to interrupt the inrtanosal use completely.

ParacelsusConstant snorting can bring also other damages, but Nose damages. My advice is as you do it every day try to withdraw. Use your drug just for the one use. Every drug has theyr use and if you do it all the time you end in adiction and fatal bodydamages.

Avoid tap water when irrigating, use distilled to avoid pathogenic organisms that are generally safe when swallowed but wreck havoc if introduced to the nasal cavity near the brain.

Make an effort to procure pure products and or purify them yourself. Not sniffing that 1/4g of phenacetin or levamisole can't hurt

The best advice is (as always), try different methods. Here this means different routes of administration. I don't know IV, but still remain 4 well documented types :)

I would not recommend switching to an IV to anyone in comparison with a snorting. The risks in these cases are incommensurable in their rapidity of onset. But alternating nostrils, reducing single dosages and frequency, taking care of the mucosa - this is worth paying attention.
